Pen y Cymoedd Wind Farm Community Fund is delighted to announce a Vision Fund grant of £23,065.00 to The Tired Mama Collection – an innovative and growing clothing brand (with English and Welsh ranges) aimed at tired mums and dads….and their babies!
Set up a year ago and run until now from the applicant’s home in Aberdulais (with the support of family and friends), the business has outgrown its attic space. This grant will support significant expansion, enabling the purchase and installation of a dedicated workshop and the recruitment of two local part-time members of staff. Tired Mama will then be able to promote sales in new outlets such as small shops, baby shows and events and to hold stock, rather than make to order – reducing order fulfilment times and increasing direct sales to new customers.
