TREHERBERT QUILTING GROUP

| This is a well-established group based in Valleys Kids Treherbert, providing skills development opportunities and companionship for its members. Club members share an interest and hobby which brings them together on a regular basis, helping to combat loneliness and isolation. Tables were available at location where the group meets, but they were not in great condition and are sometimes being used by others.

“Our group benefited from the grant provided by Pen y Cymoedd purchasing 6 new tables to use in the class enabling members to work without worrying about damaging their items of quilted work. The tables are easier to move enabling members to use sewing machines in class and we have attracted new members.
