A £26k loan/grant mix has been awarded to Hussey’s Auto’s, Hirwaun towards the installation of an MOT Bay. The expansion will aid expansion and diversify of the business and will undoubtedly bring in more customers . The project will also create a full-time Job for an MOT tester.
The business was established in January 2022 and has 2 Full-Time and 1 Part Time member of staff. The business is trading successfully, and they already offer a range of services including servicing and repairing vehicles. This is an expansion project for the business, and they would like to expend their current offering to include MOT testing on site. The Director is already a qualified MOT tester, but they are currently having to outsource MOT testing to other garages further afield and there is clearly demand for them to be able to offer this service on site themselves.
