The Pen y Cymoedd Wind Farm Community Fund is pleased to announce the latest organisations and businesses supported through Micro Fund Round 19, with a total of £151,457.35 awarded to 32 projects across the upper Neath, Afan, Rhondda and Cynon Valleys.
Established in 2016 by energy company Vattenfall, the Community Fund provides long-term investment into the communities hosting the wind farm. With an annual budget that is index-linked and has grown to £2.6 million, the Fund supports local people to develop ideas, strengthen communities and invest in local priorities.
This round reflects the diversity and ambition of our communities, supporting local businesses, community organisations, environmental initiatives, cultural projects and grassroots sport.
